- Tata Power Energy Club, Tata Power’s nationwide energy conservation movement led by school children, has been bestowed the ‘Most Innovative Campaign’ award at USA’s The Energy Daily’s 2010 Leadership Awards. 14th March 2011.
- Jojobera Power Plant, was awarded the Shrestha Suraksha Purashkar (Silver trophy and certificate) by National Safety Council under the NSCI Safety Awards scheme in the manufacturing sector category for the year 2009 for developing & implementing highly effective OSH management systems & procedures and achieving outstanding performance during the three year assessment period of 2006-2008. December 2010.
- Tata Power was conferred two awards by Platts for top 250 Global Energy Companies, viz.

- Tata Power SED team awarded the Frost & Sullivan’s Competitive Leadership Award for successfully bidding for the Indian Air Force project involving the upgradation of 30 airfields. October 2010

- The Institute of Economic Studies, New Delhi, one of the country’s premier research institutes, conferred two awards on North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL). While NDPL was presented with the ‘Excellence Award’, Mr. Sunil Wadhwa, CEO & ED, NDPL has been conferred the ‘Udyog Rattan’ Award. August 2010

- Tata Power’s Strategy Planning and Deployment Process was selected as a Benchmark Best Practice by an international jury, in the Global Benchmarking Network (GBN) Roadshow in Mumbai. June 2010.
- Tata Power has been awarded the Golden Peacock CSR Award 2010, at the Corporate Governance Summit and 20th World Congress on Total Quality held at Bangalore on 16th January 2010.
- Council of Power Utilities presented an award in Recognition of Trombay Thermal Power Station at India Power Awards 2009 held at New Delhi.
- Ministry of Power and Central Electricity Authority(CEA) confers Tata Power with GOLD SHIELD for the Distribution Business for the meritorious performance in the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) excellence thereby leading to steady reduction in distribution loss, reliability of power supply, metering, billing and collection efficiency, in Mumbai retail business.
- Ministry of Power and CEA awards ‘SILVER SHIELD’ for the speedy completion and commissioning of the 250 Unit 8 at Trombay Thermal Generation Station in Mumbai.
- “Greentech Safety Gold Award 2008” in Thermal Power sector for “Outstanding achievement in Safety Management” awarded to Trombay Thermal Power Station for the 5th consecutive year. – April 2008.
- “Suraksha Puraskar” by the National Safety Council of India for Jojobera, in January 2008 for developing and implementing very effective Safety Management Systems and Procedures during the assessment period of three years – 2003-05. – January 2008.
- Silver Shield awarded for Bhira and Bhira Pump Storage Scheme (6X25 + 1 X 150 MW), adjudged the second best performing station in the country by the Central Electricity Authority, India. – March 2008.
- Awarded the Quality Circles AWARD 2007 at the “National Convention on Quality Circles” under the aegis of Quality Circle Forum of India.
- Dahanukar Award by the Indian Association of Occupational Health for HIV/AIDS intervention at the workplace.
