Mr. Khanna led the renewables business of Tata Power, wherein he was conferred with responsibility for the firm's clean energy business.

Mr. Khanna, a visionary with immense industry expertise, began his scintillating journey with Tata Power in 2007. He is a valued strategic thinker who is committed to achieving excellence through on-ground project execution and teamwork. His confidence and commitment to customers supported the Company's efforts to build proficiency in homegrown technologies and innovation. During his tenure, the Renewables business grew multiple fold and today Tata Power Renewables is the market leader is almost all its business verticals.

He is also the Chairman of ASSOCHAM - the National Council for New and Renewable Energy.

Prior to joining Tata Power, he worked with some of the leading organizations like Bechtel and Engineering India Limited. He is also a distinguished member of renowned business councils and collaboratives like the CII, FICCI, and ICC.

Mr. Khanna holds an engineering degree from the Delhi Technological University (formerly the Delhi College of Engineering) and completed his master's degree in management and systems from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, in 1997. He is an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program at IIM Ahmedabad.
