Tata Power marks International Women’s Day by inaugurating its third ‘All-Women’ Customer Relations Centre in Khar (West), Mumbai

~CRC to be entirely run by six women trained to deliver enhanced Customer Experience~

Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power utility has always focused on women empowerment by providing them with new avenues for growth and development. In line with this commitment, the company, today, inaugurated its third ‘All-Women’ CRC on the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8th March, 2019 in Khar (West), Mumbai. The new centre will be entirely managed by a team of six women personnel. All the functions at the CRC including security will be handled by women.

The CRC was inaugurated by Mr. Minesh Dave, President, T&D in the presence of Mr. Ganesh Srinivasan, Chief Corporate Operations, T&D and Mr. Vishwas Shrikhande, Chief DSMG.

Conceptualized first in 2018, the company inaugurated its first ‘All-Women’ CRC in Andheri (West) and second CRC in Borivali (East) along with centres in Delhi and Ajmer as well. The move is a testament of Tata Power’s vision to strengthen gender diversification in the company, influencing the employability and empowerment of local women. The centre is an ideal platform for the company’s women employees to showcase their ability to independently manage and operate a full-fledged Customer Relations Centre.
