Tata Power bags platinum award for Occupational Health & Safety by Indian Chamber of Commerce

Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power utility has bagged Platinum award for National Occupational Health & Safety - Corporate Category and Costal Gujarat Power Limited (CGPL), its subsidiary won a Gold award in Power Generation & Electrical Units Category by the Indian Chamber of Commerce.

The awards were conferred at the hands of Mr. Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay, Honourable Minister of Power & Non-Conventional Energy Sources, Government of West Bengal.

The ICC National Occupational Health and Safety Awards recognises an organisation’s best practices in the sphere of Occupational Health & Safety and Management at work place. The award is given in the sectors of Manufacturing, Construction & Infrastructure, Power Generation and Electrical Units, Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Hospitality, Healthcare and Commercial Complexes, Mining and Others in three categories of Large, Medium and Small Business organisations.
