Tata Power collaborates with Golden Park Hotel & Resort to establish an EV charging station

Tata Power, one of India’s largest integrated power companies and a leading EV charging infrastructure provider, in its continued endeavour to boost EV adoption in the country, has installed public charging stations at Golden Park Hotel & Resort near Malda. Golden Park Hotel & Resort is one of the largest Leisureplex and Conference Center of mid Bengal, situated on National Highway 34 at Malda, the gate way to North East India.

Tata Power has installed two EV charging stations with capacities of 30 kW and 7.4 kW at Golden Park Hotel & Resort, which is located 5km (10–15 minutes) from Malda railway station and on the Kolkata–Siliguri highway.

The visionary partnership is a testimony to Tata Power's commitment to making sustainable mobility mainstream.

This unique offering is in alignment with Tata Power’s belief that sustainability is attainable and that the propagation of the use of green and clean energy in the country can make  e-mobility a way of life for millions of Indians through its green solutions and offerings in the EV charging space.
All travellers or tourists coming to the Golden Park hotel can make use of the Tata Power EZ Charge mobile app to find the nearest charging stations on the go. More than 1 lakh people in India have already downloaded the app.

Tata Power currently has a robust network of public and semi-public 4000+ charging points, 40000+ home chargers (for private usage), 250+ electric bus charging points, and a live EV charging network in over 550 cities across India. As India stands committed to achieving carbon neutrality or Net Zero by 2070, Tata Power’s aggressive deployment of EV chargers is in line with the Government of India’s National Electric Mobility Mission Plan (NEMMP), which aims to develop electric vehicle charging infrastructure using the latest technology platform along with easy access to charging points for electric vehicle owners.
