Health and Sanitation
(Arogya)

Tata Power's Integrated Community Health Care initiative aims at providing solutions for better health care. Our approach is to partner with Government Health machineries through behavioural change communication, community mobilization and awareness on Mother and Child health care in our geographies. Additionally, our Mobile Medical Units and special health camps at select locations to provide healthcare facilities at the doorstep.

At select locations, our approach is to mitigate gaps by changing behaviour of a community towards sanitation, by rolling out Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) and Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) on the ground. Apart from this, we ensure usability of each toilets by ensuring water facility in the households and training of household members for cleaning and maintenance. At the last stage, we support each beneficiaries through linking nodal departments of sanitation for reimbursement of support money as described in Swatchh Bharat Mission (Grameen) guidelines.

Our highlights
