Trombay Thermal Station has been certified for Environment Management System (EMS) ISO 14001-2004 with effect from 16.08.12.  Tata Power was conferred with IPPAI (Independent Power Producers Association of India) Award in the category “Best Wind Power Producer” on 24th August 2012.

Tata Power’s Jojobera Thermal Power Station bags Golden Peacock Environment Management Award - 2012 (7th July 2012) at New Delhi.
Certificate of Merit awarded to Transmission Lines, the in-house magazine at the In-house Communication Excellence (ICE) Awards 2012. Tata Power was conferred with Powerline Award in the category ‘Best Performing Renewable IPP’. The award is based on the three criteria-growth in generation, capacity addition and installed capacity for the two-year period (2009-10 and 2010-11). The award was presented by Mr Sushilkumar Shinde, Union Minister of Power, Government of India on 15 May 2012 at New Delhi.
Tata Power has been selected as the winner of the Infrastructure Excellence Awards 2012 in the Main Awards Category - Energy & Power for the project – Ultra Mega Power Project, Mundra, and Gujarat. The trophy was presented by Shri Kamal Nath, Hon’ble Union Minister for Urban Development, Government of India at the felicitation ceremony on Tuesday, 8th May 2012 at The Taj Palace, New Delhi. Mr Alok Kanagat Chief-Projects and Executive Director CGPL and Mr K K Sharma, Chief-Mundra project received the award on behalf of Tata Power.
