Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power company, has always been a pioneer in the comprehensive development of youth living in and around its operational areas. In continuation with the philosophy, Tata Power Community Development Trust (TPCDT) launched the Employability-Kaushal Vikas Program in Maval and Bhivpuri to enhance the skills of rural youth and help them get a job placement in the nearby Industries and market. Within three years of its launch, the program has trained and certified 1,170 youths for vocational and service industries skills.

The objective of this program was to benefit youth with a flexible approach of learning while earning as most of them are involved in labor work on a daily basis.
