Tata Power’s Maithon Power Limited felicitates Hyva drivers at a safety awareness drive in maithon, jharkhand

~Organises Rewards & Recognition programme for Hyva owners and villagers as a part of the stakeholder engagement ~

Tata Power’s Maithon Power Ltd. (MPL) recognized and rewarded Hyva owners and drivers engaged in the transportation of coal to the plant and for their commitment towards road safety & excellent operations. Mr. Subash H. Pandey, Head- Chief O&M Services presented this award at the Pandra. Camp which witnessed an overwhelming presence of associates, employees and community members.

He reinstated the importance of road safety by requesting all associated with the transportation sector to adhere to the industry’s rules and regulations. He also shared the importance of environment conservation and the need to avoid plastic in accordance with national priority and distributed over 50 plant saplings among villagers to motivate them to pledge for the protection of environment.

Speaking further on this initiative, Mr. Ramesh Jha, CEO , MPL said ,” We appreciate efforts towards an improved engagement with all the stakeholders and appealed the Hyva drivers & owners to proactively lead in ensuring everyone’s safety, including frequent commuters of the road “.

The event was graced by company officials such as Mr. S.H. Pandey, Mr. Tarun Chattopadhyay, Mr. Rakesh Singh Bhadoriya, Mr. Koushik Ganguly, Mr. Rahul Pandey, Mr. Anil Pradhan, Mr. Susheel Singh, Mr. Rajiv Ranjan, Mr. Vikram Rathore, Mr. Gopal Barnwal, Mr. Mrityunjai Ray, Mr. Bikash Dutta, etc. along with police administration, associates, contractors, hyva drivers, hyva owners and villagers.
