Our CSR focus on water has a dual approach, which addresses solutions for drinking and household purpose as well as tackles demand side and supply side management for agriculture through Participatory Ground Water Management and enhanced use of water through innovative ways of conservation.

Objectives of Water initiative

  • Providing safe and sustainable solutions for day to day need of water.
  • Conserving and recharge natural water bodies.

OUR HIGHLIGHTS

  • Mundra Participatory Ground Water Management Intervention being replicated at Maithon, where a feasibility study is being done.
  • Tata Power, Mundra mobilizes 1st instalment of resources (Rs 65 Lakhs) under PGWM covering 19 villages.
  • Land coverage under agriculture and water initiatives (YTD) - 1570 acres.
