Tata Power is rapidly expanding its EV charging infrastructure across India, aiming to establish over 400,000 charging points by 2027. This initiative includes the deployment of 30,000 public fast chargers and the introduction of the 'Mega Charger' network, offering ultra-fast charging capabilities. The company has already installed more than 86,000 home chargers and over 5,300 public charging points, covering 530 cities and towns. Additionally, Tata Power has set up over 850 bus charging stations and 464 e-bus charging points, supporting the government's vision for one crore annual EV sales by 2030.
