Tata Power's subsidiary, TP Renewable Microgrid Ltd. (TPRMG) is brightening up rural india and reducing carbon emissions with renewable microgrids. The company has deployed setups in over 200 villages across states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Odisha, impacting approximately 300,000 lives. These microgrids have collectively saved over 3 million liters of diesel and reduced carbon dioxide emissions by more than 8,000 tons annually. Recognized by the World Economic Forum as a "people-positive accelerator," TPRMG's initiative exemplifies Tata Power's commitment to sustainable and inclusive energy solutions for underserved communities.
