Campaign draws a link between the power of Shakti and solar energy through LED displays, large-format banners and on-ground consumer engagement

Tata Power Solaroof Taps into Kolkata’s Durga Puja Spirit with Rooftop Solar awareness Outdoor Campaign

Tata Power Solaroof spreads the message of clean energy across Kolkata's Durga Puja celebrations

Kolkata, October 17, 2026: This Durga Puja, Tata Power Solaroof, a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), is bringing the message of solar energy aagman to Kolkata through an outdoor branding campaign across prominent Puja locations from 10 October to 20 October 2026. Drawing inspiration from the spirit of Shakti associated with Maa Durga, the campaign connects the festival’s themes of strength and new beginnings with the potential of rooftop solar to encourage electricity savings and greater adoption of clean energy.

The campaign’s creative approach uses the festive season as an opportunity to make rooftop solar more visible and relatable to households. By associating the symbolism of power with the everyday benefits of solar energy, Tata Power Solaroof aims to build consumer awareness around energy conservation.

Alongside the outdoor branding initiative, Tata Power Solaroof is also conducting its ‘Ghar Ghar Solar’ campaign in Kolkata to encourage more households to explore and adopt rooftop solar solutions. Together, these initiatives aim to build awareness about the benefits of solar energy and accelerate its adoption across the city.

The outdoor activation spans key Puja pandals, including Tarun Sangha and Samaj Sebi. Branding formats include LED displays at Triangular Park, along the stretch from Raymond Showroom to Jugal’s Bus Stop; the main overhead LED gate at the Sarat Bose Road–Lake Road crossing; box gate branding on Southern Avenue/Lake View Road towards Ballygunge Cultural and Samaj Sebi; and banner branding at the Sarat Bose Road entry towards Samaj Sebi.

The outdoor campaign will be complemented by on-ground engagement activities to introduce consumers to rooftop solar solutions. A dedicated team of Tata Power Solaroof representatives will be present on-site to engage with consumers, raise awareness about rooftop solar solutions, address queries, and empower households to make informed decisions about adopting clean energy. Strategically stationed opposite the Samaj Sebi Pandal, the team will facilitate direct interactions with solar experts, providing visitors with valuable insights into the benefits of rooftop solar adoption.

Together, the activations are intended to strengthen Tata Power Solaroof’s visibility in West Bengal and connect the brand with consumers during one of Kolkata’s biggest cultural celebrations.
