What is a Type 2 connector?
A Type 2 connector is the standard AC charging connector for electric vehicles (EVs) across India, Europe, and many other global markets. Also known as the IEC 62196-2 connector, it features a seven-pin design that safely transfers power between an EV and a charging station while supporting both single-phase and three-phase charging.
