Introduction

Tata Power's EPC driving growth and sustainability in Anantpur

The Anantpur plant is a symbol of modern technology that not only advances the nation, but also preserves nature.

About the plant

An amalgamation of our core strengths in EPC services over the decades, this 100 MW plant is the largest project by us that uses solar cells and modules manufactured in India. It is expected to generate nearly 160 million units (kWh) of energy per year, and has helped offset approximately 110,000 tonnes of CO2 in its first year.

Innovation and solution

With innovative designs in Balance-of-System (BoS) and cabling, along with an optimized selection of evacuation systems, the project was completed within 80% of the stipulated timeline. We ensured robust safety measures throughout 1.3 million man-hours.

CSR and sustainability

Special care was taken to preserve the ecosystem across the 500-acre site. Our CSR initiatives included training over 50 local individuals for maintenance roles and providing on-site colonies for the workers.
